Studio Policies

Attendance
Regular attendance is essential if the student is to progress. If a class must be missed, it may be made up in an alternate class during the month in which it was missed. Prior notice is required if a student discontinues classes during the month; otherwise full tuition will be charged.

Attire
All creative movement, pre-ballet, and ballet students are to wear pink tights, dark (one-piece) leotard and pink ballet shoes. Attire and dance supplies are available for purchase at Dancer's Boutique at the Gloucester studio location. Dancewear for jazz is more liberal. However, such apparel is subject to teacher's approval. Shirts and shorts are not to be worn over dancewear.

Calendar
Fall classes begin after Labor Day. The studio observes the same major holidays as the county school systems, i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. All other holidays and school free days will not disrupt the regularly scheduled classes. If school is canceled due to weather conditions dance classes will be re-scheduled. Please call 694-5900 to verify cancellation of classes.

Studio Behavior
Dance is a disciplined art form and requires that students exhibit appropriate studio behavior. Students are expected to refrain from talking and to give their full attention during class. Hair must be off the neck and away from the face. All food and gum will remain outside the studio.
