Performance Opportunities

Studio Performance
Every year, Diggs School of Dance designates a "Performance Day" in which the family and friends of our students are invited to the studios to observe classes. This is an opportunity for your child to perform their newly acquired skills, and for you to share in their dance experience. Attendance is strongly encouraged and cameras are welcome.

Recital
Recitals are scheduled on an every other year basis due to the amount of class time required for preparation and the additional costs to families. Recitals are usually held during the spring season.

Bayside Youth Ballet
Bayside Youth Ballet, Inc. is the resident dance company of Diggs School fo Dance. Established in 1993 the company offers a more intesne and disciplined dance study for those interested in pursuing dance as a career. The company performs throughout the year for civic, school and community groups as well as full length productions. Auditions are held annually in the fall.

Chrysalis
Chrysalis provides children an opportunity to train and perform with Bayside Youth Ballet, as well as receive individual mentoring from Company Members. Invitations are extended in the fall.
