2012 Recital Letter
Dear Parents and Students:
In an effort to allow all of our dancers to participate in the 2012 Recital we have procured the Mathews High School Auditorium for Friday, June 1, 2012 at 7:00p for our performance. A Technical Rehearsal will be held on Wednesday, May 30, from 4:30p-7:30p for Ballet III, Modern, Jazz II and Jazz III, Ballet Basics, Adult Ballet and all BYB dancers only. A Dress Rehearsal will be held on Thursday, May 31, from 5:00p-8:00p for ALL dancers. These rehearsals will be held at the auditorium and are mandatory. It is very difficult for other dancers when one or two are missing. Every effort will be made to dismiss the dancers as early as possible as Thursday is a school night for some. All Preballet, Ballet I, Ballet II, and Jazz I dancers (except Rachel’s Jazz class in Mathews which is the second dance in Act II) are scheduled for Act I and will be dismissed at the beginning of Act II.
Costume prices are posted at the studios and on the website. We have extended the due date until Friday, January 20, 2012. A $15 recital fee (per family) will be charged with the March tuition. More details to follow concerning rehearsals, extra classes, picture day, etc.
Thank you for your patience with the rescheduling process. It is very important to us that all our dancers are able to participate in the performance.
